Shine Together Community Projects provides out-of-school childcare, academic support, and enrichment activities for children aged 8+.

Our aim is to support children’s learning, confidence, wellbeing, and social development through structured, safe, and inclusive sessions.

We continually work to improve outcomes for the children and families we support.

What we aim to achieve

Our core aims are:

  • Improve confidence in learning

  • Support progress in maths, English, and reading

  • Provide safe and structured childcare after school and at weekends

  • Reduce learning gaps for children who need additional support

  • Develop social skills, teamwork, and independence

  • Create positive, engaging experiences outside of school

We support:

  • Children aged 8+ (KS2 and early KS3 where applicable)

  • Children needing additional academic support

  • SEN learners who benefit from structured, predictable environments

  • Working families needing reliable childcare provision

  • Children who benefit from enrichment and social development activities
